Today at lunch, my colleagues in the Fried Frank Real Estate Department bet me that I couldn’t eat a one pound bag of about 40 Twizzlers in less than ten minutes. I took the challenge on the condition that whatever money was raised would go to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
It was a rough 10 minutes, but I finished the bag and my colleagues chipped in $800 (so far). Thanks everyone!

Hello everybody, my name is Kathi and I am originally from Germany but since last August I’m living in New Jersey, right next to Philadelphia. I am an Au Pair and I’ll stay for another year in America, but I will move to San Francisco. My father has PD and just had an operation to get a brain pace maker. I hope it’ll help him… I’d really like to help to find a cure for PD, but I’m not sure what I can do. I already asked my Au Pair Agency, but they are not interested in anything like that… I’m also trying to sell stuff from the Team Fox Shop to all of my friends, but this is still not enough help. I would really like to start a bigger event in Californa, but I don’t know where to start, what to do or anything else. If anybody is interested in that as well, please feel free to contact me at kathi_zie@web.de ! Thank you so much for your time, Kathi

Hello, my name is Linda and I am relatively new to Team Fox but have an event planned for December 12th. It is Pirouettes for Parkinson’s and is a performance of The Nutcracker. The entire family is extremely excited to be able to have a part in our event. Our Goal is to raise $3000 and we hope to make this an annual event.
Since my husband’s diagnosis in 2008 of early on-set PD at the age of 47, we are bound and determined to do all we can to raise funds for the cure, participate in any clinical trials that we can, and basically fight PD every step of the way.
The best part is that we can do this as a family and even better, as part of the Team Fox family. Ron and I had the privilege of meeting some awesome MJFF and TeamFox people at the “A Funny Thing..” event in NYC. We are inspired by your dedication and extremely honored to be part of such a fantastic organization. We want to thank you for all you do and for being there for us when we received this life changing news.

My names is Rich Broughton & I am a member of the BMW Car Club of America & TeamFox. I also have PD. We (My wife, Claire & I) are busy planning an event, the 7th Annual OBX CruZ for the Cure of Parkinson. It will be held in New Bern, NC on Ap 30 to May 2, 2010. We hope to raise $10,000. In prior years we raised over $22,000 for Duke University Medicine Parkinson’s Research Fund. This will be our first year with TeamFox. Details will be posted on my web site http://www.obxcruZ.ning.com. The event is open to anyone who would like to attend, not just car club members. It will run from Friday afternoon (pig picking on Neuse River till Sunday afternoon (picnic on Bear Island, Hammock Beach State Park). We are expecting around 150 folks to attend. Hope to see some of you all there.
