pick-up-your-feet3-150x150John Carchedi was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease seven years ago at the age of 53.  John is not letting his Parkinson’s slow him down and runs around 25 races each year including 15 marathons -  a feat most runners in good health cannot accomplish in a lifetime!  However, his Team Fox fundraising efforts are not focused around his own running, but a 5k run he is hosting to include additional runners in the part of the fight against Parkinson’s.

John’s run, “Pick Up Your Feet for Parkinson’s,” will be held October 4, 2009 in Williamson County Regional Park outside Georgetown, Texas.  Runners and walkers of all ages are invited. The race will start and finish inside Williamson County Park.  This is a two loop traffic free course with one water stop. Spectators are welcome and there is plenty of seating inside the stadium.
