In June, we told you about a great event taking place on September 12 in Maine. Team Fox member Edna Woods, along with family and friends,will hold the 2nd Annual New England Parkinson’s Ride in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. This ride was started because Edna’s son, Chris, was diagnosed with Young-Onset Parkinson’s disease at the age of 40.
It’s not too late to sign up to participate in this awesome bike ride. What makes this bike ride so unique? In addition to the beautiful Maine scenery, six of the riders have with Parkinson’s disease - two will be biking 30 miles, two will bike 50 miles and the other two will take on the 100 mile course. There are already 69 cyclists, which is double the amount of riders that the event had last year.
