When you make a donation of $5.00 or more to The Michael J. Fox Foundation, Team Fox member Jean Burns, will send you a PDF file of the PD Tulip cross stitch graph (shown above), rendered for stitchers by artist Sue Hillis from Karen Painter’s original PD Tulip design.
The PD Tulip is being used for Parkinson’s awareness across the U.S. and it use transcends organizational boundaries. In addition to the Team Fox logo, the PD Tulip is a symbol to show your support for the PD community. The tulip is a red flower with distinctive leaves shaped like the letters P and D.
Make a donation at Jean’s Team Fox page and email Jean at jean@pdtulip.com to receive your PD tulip today.

I love this tulip! What a wonderful logo for PD research.
My sister happens to be Karen Painter, the designer of this tulip, and has been diagnosed with PD herself. Karen has gone to Washington DC to lobby for stem cell research; she has started a young onset PD support group within her community; and she has also worked with the local hospital to keep treating PD when a PD patient is admitted. Through payroll deduction, I have been contributing to the Michael J. Fox Foundation since Karen was diagnosed.
I am very proud of my little sister.
