We are so very proud that the Foundation’s own Laura Dalle Pazze, Associate Director of Strategic Projects, will be participating in a Team Fox event this weekend. And it’s not just any event. We’ll let you hear directly from her about her plan to fight Parkinson’s one fire and um, snake, at a time:
“This Saturday, July 18, I will be leaping through fire, sneaking past snakes, scaling splintered logs, braving something frighteningly/ambiguously designated the “Tunnels of Terror”, and ultimately, 6 kilometers and 8 other death-defying obstacles later, feasting on the not-so-metaphorical 2-lb turkey leg of victory. This is my Warrior Dash (or rather, WARRIOR DASH), and I leap, sneak, scale, and brave it for Team Fox for Parkinson’s Research.
Since I work at the Foundation, you could say I’m a little biased, but you could also say that seeing, day in and day out, the dedication, drive, and passion with which the MJFF team works, I know what I’m talking about. I love the work I do every day to contribute to advancing this mission, and now I’m thrilled to be doing my own Team Fox event, adding warrior to the cadre of Team Fox members!
Read the rest of this hysterial cand incredibly inspiring letter on Laura’s Team Fox page and consider being a part of her Warrior Dash by making an online contribution. Good luck Laura and thanks for working overtime to make a difference in the fight against Parkinson’s!
