Fundraising idea: turn your birthday party into a fundraiser for Team Fox! That’s what Allison Platt, with the help of her friends, is generously doing on Wednesday, July 22 in New York City. The party will take place at the Brass Monkey and Allison has invited friends, family and Team Fox supporters to join in the celebration by making a $10 donation at the door. All the funds raised will go to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. The next night, Team Foxer Nina Tringali, who is running the 2009 ING NYC Marathon for Team Fox, will be hosting a great event. Nina will be serving as guest bartender, along with a fellow Team Fox member, at Rathbone’s on the Upper West Side. With a donation (of any amount) at the door, guests are entitled to half price beers and discounts on all mixed drinks. The event will also feature a raffle.
