Grabbing the attention of local media outlets (newspapers, magazines, radio, Web sites) is a great way to increase awareness for your Team Fox event. Receiving local press can help draw more community members to your event and it also lets a greater audience know of your fundraising efforts.

When you become a member of Team Fox, we provide you with a sample press release template and helpful hints on how to pitch your event to local press. As you’ve seen on the blog, our members have had great success with reaching out to their local publications, print and online, and it’s always a great way to further our mission of raising funds and awareness for The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
