Team Foxers Taylor Dewey and Suzie Parker are making a difference in the lives of people with Parkinson’s disease. Their event, Pedal and Paddle for Parkinson’s is a 5,000 mile “self propelled adventure.” During part I of this adventure, Taylor rode his bicycle from Bar Harbor, Maine to Key West, Florida. He raised almost $2,000 for Team Fox during the 36 days that it took him to pedal 2,700 miles down the Atlantic coast of the U.S.
Now, during part II of the event, Suzie and Taylor will be kayaking the 410 mile long Connecticut River and then biking 1,900 miles along the Pacific coast from Vancouver to San Diego. This journey will be dedicated to the memory of Taylor’s amazing grandmother, Marina J. Dewey, who recently passed away and lived with Parkinson’s.
