Three young sisters from California, Maddie, CeCe and Sophie, are determined to join the Team Fox fight against Parkinson’s in honor of their grandmother, who lives with the disease because their hope is that “future Nanas won’t have to suffer.” Did we mention that all three girls are under the age of 12? We’re completely inspired, are you? Here’s more:
The girls wanted to help support the cause but they didn’t know what they could do to get involved at their age. Luckily, their mom discovered Team Fox and has helped the girls organize a fundraiser right in their own community called, “Pedal for Parkinson’s.” On April 25, the girls will ride their bicycles 20 miles to show their dedication to Team Fox. They hope to make this an annual event with more riders joining in each year. They also plan to increase their pledge amount to Team Fox with each passing event. Since their grandma lives with them, she gets to see the incredible fundraising work her young granddaughters are doing every day in her honor.
On their Team Fox page, the girls explain: “we’ve been taught that in the end, we can only truly regret that which we don’t try to accomplish.”

Uncle John and I are so very proud of our 3 “great” nieces and the “Pedal for Parkinsons” fundraiser they will be doing in April. They are truly a source of inspiration and pride for our family. We know each year team “Silly Sisters” will inspire others to join in their fundraiser and it will just get bigger and bigger! My 3 nieces are awesome! They are very loving and giving individuals. Their “Pedal for Parkinsons” fundraiser is going to be a great success. Team Silly Sisters will give Team Fox their all in this fight against Parkinsons. Team Silly Sisters Rocks!
