On Monday voting will open for the contest, “Dallas/Fort Worth’s Most Down-To-Earth Radio Personality.” How does this relate to the Foundation? Well, DJ Mark Schectman, of Dallas’ radio station 102.1 KDGE, is one of the five nominees and his charity of choice is, you guessed it, The Michael J. Fox Foundation. If he wins, a $5,000 will be donated to the Foundation!

So you all know, Mark’s dad has PD and that is why he has chosen the MJFF. The only problem now is that he is trailing because he cannot talk about it on the radio. The station won’t give the sponsors free advertising. So go vote and get this $5,000 for the MJFF. The person in the lead talked about it on air since he had no restrictions put on him and that is why he is ahead right now! So everyone go vote and get your friends to vote for Mark and the MJFF!
